Usually a little scraggly, feisty, and malmanored, not every street cat is as sweet and lovable as the feline we have curled up on our sofa at home. But sometimes we meet a street cat that steals our heart away in an instant, summoning our hooman instant to care for and love this little feline furball at all costs—and the call of the CDS cannot be unheard!

This woman in our next tale shares a heroic rollercoaster of a story about a young kitten she found crying under her balcony, sopping wet and full of kitten tears. Sick, dirty, and fighting for every second of life, she was determined to save him. Now, 4 months later, she reveals a heartfelt story of survival, redemption, and ultimate acceptance into a new cat family who all share a single, orange brain cell.

  • A few days later, she sought help again online...

    So, I rescued this kitten that was crying in the bushes in my apartment building's pool area and immediately took him to the vet. He had a flu but they prescribed some antibiotics and he's all good now. Super energetic and playful and it's only been two days since he was found.

  • Anyway, since I don't know where the cat came from I wanted to get him tested right away because I have two cats (one tested and all negative, and one never tested because he was my first cat - also a rescue kitten). The vets told me it was pointless to test because he's too young (about 4 weeks) but I wanted to just in case it was positive and I could confirm right away or know what to expect.

    Wall-E is warming up to the stray kitty Orange Duo can't let them get too close yet but I'm getting Wall-E vaccinated for Felv just to prevent anything if the kitty has it. I tested the kitty for fiv/felv and it came back negative.

    After undergoing treatment for the flu, Chilli the orange kitten from the CDS is healed and all better. But will his big brother, Wall-E, take him in as one of his shared brain cell cat-patriots?

    Update on the CDS orange found 4 months ago Kitten I named him Chili. I'm getting him neutered next month and we will also finally know if he's truly 100% fiv and felv negative so fingers crossed
